There's no better way to enjoy beautiful summer weather than listening to live music outside.
May - September
Enjoy live performances amid open-air waterfront seating at Dock & Paddle. Music is scheduled most nights, so check the schedule. All events are free unless indicated otherwise.
Wednesdays: June 5-July 24
A series of free outdoor concerts featuring some of the Twin Cities' finest musicians and activities for the whole family (Voted by City Pages as the "Best Place to See a Concert with Kids!); bring a chair or blanket Wednesdays 6-8 p.m. at Como Park Zoo & Conservatory. Hotdogs, ice cream treats, beer and wine will be available to purchase.
Thursdays: June 6-August 29
Formerly Music in Mears, Lowertown Sounds will help you kick off the weekend (Thursdays count, right?) with outdoor live music. This popular Thursday night concert features different local acts, and the artists, restaurants and spectators truly bring the romantic Mears Park to life.
Summer Nights in Rice is a free concert event held in Rice Park from 5 - 7 m.
Grab a drink or bite to eat at a local restaurant, then stop by for live music, dancing and community connections in the heart of downtown Saint Paul.
Bringing the arts to the community in a unique and interactive way, The Ordway leveraged digital technology to create a high-quality artistic program more accessible to a wider audience. Kickoff summer with the famous Twin Cities Jazz Festival in Saint Paul's lively Lowertown, with headliners performing in beautiful Mears Park and shows at over 20 venues throughout the city.
June 28-29
For the first time ever, Allianz Field will be hosting concerts with this two-day festival filled with loads of music and activities. The lineup includes electronic music artists like Illenium, Kaskade, Slander and local artist duo, Twinsick.
July 19-20
This inaugural event welcomes two days of performances across two stages between 20 artists including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gwen Stefani, Alanis Mosissette and Hippo Campus at Harriet Island Regional Park in the heart of downtown Saint Paul.
