Visit Saint Paul Launches Tourism Promotion During National Travel & Tourism Week
As part of National Travel & Tourism Week (May 3-11), Visit Saint Paul, the city’s official convention & visitors bureau, has announced the launch of a summer leisure travel promotion - Saint Paul Road Trip fueled by SuperAmerica – targeted at drawing in more visitors to Saint Paul from the upper Midwest.

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – As part of National Travel & Tourism Week (May 3-11), Visit Saint Paul, the city’s official convention & visitors bureau, has announced the launch of a summer leisure travel promotion - Saint Paul Road Trip fueled by SuperAmerica – targeted at drawing in more visitors to Saint Paul from the upper Midwest.
This summer-long promotion will tell the story of Saint Paul as a unique vacation destination through the organization’s mobile visitors center known as “Paul.” This modified Ford Transit Connect includes two 19 inch television monitors, a 360 degree awning system, three information distribution windows, a sun roof for parades, iPhone and Android smartphone chargers and is wrapped in beautiful Saint Paul imagery. His hashtag #HangWithPaul is highly visible on the hood and will be the social media connection to his whereabouts throughout the summer.
The summer schedule is currently slated for 42 days on the road including events in Chicago, Fargo, Milwaukee, Sioux Falls and Winnipeg as well as festivals and events throughout the metro area. Event attendees will have the opportunity to “hang with Paul” and learn about the great city of Saint Paul from staff members as well as grab marketing materials on things that interest them in the city. People can register throughout the summer to win the VIP Saint Paul Getaway valued at $4000 as well as other prizes.
