Pick Your Frozen Faceoff Contest is Back!

Fans can enter the contest to win free tickets and hotel for the 2024 NCHC Frozen Faceoff

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC), Xcel Energy Center and Visit Saint Paul are offering fans the opportunity to win the complete 2024 Frozen Faceoff experience as the “Pick Your Frozen Faceoff” Contest hosted by Visit Saint Paul returns this year. Fans who enter will have a chance to win tickets, hotel and dinner for the 2024 NCHC championship weekend in Saint Paul, Minn.

The sweepstakes involve fans predicting the four NCHC teams that they believe will make it to this year’s 2023 NCHC Frozen Faceoff on March 17-18. Next, fans select the two teams predicted to make the Championship game and the 2023 NCHC Frozen Faceoff champion. The final question requires fans to guess how many total goals will be scored during all three games of the 2023 NCHC Frozen Faceoff, which will serve as a tiebreaker, if needed.

Fans can submit their predictions through an online entry and are limited to one entry per person. The sweepstakes entry period begins today, Monday, Feb. 20 and ends on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 10 p.m. CT.

One lucky fan who predicts everything correctly for the 2023 championship will win two all-session tickets to the 2024 NCHC Frozen Faceoff at Xcel Energy Center on March 22-23, as well as a two-night stay at the InterContinental Saint Paul Riverfront on March 22-23, 2024. In addition, the “Pick Your Frozen Faceoff” Sweepstakes hosted by Visit Saint Paul winner will receive a gift certificate to Herbie’s on the Park adjacent to Xcel Energy Center.

This year’s NCHC Frozen Faceoff is hosted at Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minn. on March 17-18. All-session ticket packages and single-session tickets are on sale now at ticketmaster.com.

In addition to the Frozen Faceoff games, the Minnesota Wild will host the Boston Bruins on Saturday, March 18 at 1 p.m. CT prior to the championship game for fans wanting to watch more hockey (separate ticket required).

Several fan events are also planned around Frozen Faceoff weekend, including a Fan Skate, NCHC Awards Celebration and NCHC Fan Fest. Frozen Faceoff team practices will be open to the public on Thursday, March 16. The NCHC Fan Skate will once again take place on the eve of the Frozen Faceoff on Thursday, March 16 from 7-8:30 p.m. CT at Xcel Energy Center. Fan Fest, featuring music, tasty food and drink, interactive hockey games and more, will take place both days of the Frozen Faceoff (Friday from 2 - 6 p.m. and Saturday from 3 - 7 p.m.) outdoors at The Apostle Supper Club across West 7th Street from Xcel Energy Center.
