Twin Cities Book Festival
November 8, 2025
Overview
After many fun-filled years at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, Rain Taxi's Twin Cities Book Festival is moving to St. Paul’s historic Union Depot—just in time to celebrate twenty-five consecutive years of the beloved literary celebration, which continues to expand in attendance and vision. This new venue offers increased capacity for the TCBF in a dazzling space with historic charm.
While the venue has changed, the core features of the Festival will remain the same: an abundant book fair with publishers, literary organizations, magazines, writing programs, libraries, literacy advocates, used and rare book dealers, and more, as well as multiple stages with author readings, talks, and activities for all ages. As well, the TCBF will remain FREE and open to the public.
The largest and longest running annual get-together for our state’s devoted book community, the one-day TCBF attracted over 1,000 people in its first year, and gradually moved into larger venues as it grew; its recent incarnations at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds have attracted over 6,000 audience members.
