Overview
Jessie Street crafts a unique sound that honors the jazz tradition while remaining fresh and accessible. Their interpretations of well-known vocal songs, spanning from '80s hits to American Songbook classics, are both playful and invigorating. Vocalist Trish Neumann's stunning voice is beautifully supported by seasoned musicians Stan O’Daffer on keys, Bill Katsiyannis on drums, and Jacob Yackshaw on bass.
Trish Neumann has graced the stage at Carnegie Hall in New York several times as a member of the Gospel Music Association, most recently in June 2024. Musical director Stan O’Daffer brings an eclectic background, having studied composition with classical composer Roque Cordero and performed piano across a diverse range of styles and artists—from the funk of Ingrid Chavez to the hard jazz of The Tonight Show’s Ernie Watts.
"Our approach is to present familiar songs from the popular repertoire in distinctive jazz styles. We cover everything from the Beatles, Dylan, and Croce to Pink, alongside classics like Ella, Miles, and Coltrane. These renditions are sure to bring a smile to your face as we breathe new life into beloved songs from the past."
