At the center of Handsome Hog’s menu is the pig. Using everything from the snout to the tail, the Handsome Hog’s Southern-inspired menu includes everything from southern staples like Smoked Beef Brisket to Mustard-Crusted Pork Loin. Handsome Hog even employs a “Charcu-Artist” full-time – if you’re sitting in the right spot, you can watch as they create delightful charcuterie plates on demand with meats from around the world. During the summer months, have a seat on the full-service patio, which overlooks Mears Park.
Keeping with Southern tradition, the Handsome Hog boasts over 100 bottles of bourbon behind the bar, and offers a expansive list of craft cocktails. The smoky Sazerac is Chef’s favorite, but the House G&T – complete with housemade tonic – is also a guest favorite. If you’re not into the hard stuff, Handsome Hog’s menu also boasts a selection of local craft beers, perfectly paired wines, and Southern-style Sweet Tea. No matter your taste, Handsome Hog has got a liquid to quench your thirst.
