The last 35 years, our vision at ASANDC has been to improve the social and economic well-being of the communities we serve. Our mission is to foster positive relationships within and between the communities we serve and to support our members in effecting the quality of life in their communities.

As a grassroots organization that began in 1980 when a few concerned neighbors brought their block clubs together to create change, we take our mission to heart in all that we do. Whether we are building new homes, supporting our small business community, or engaging our youth, our work is most effective when driven by the voices, needs, and participation of our neighbors. Only through this collective action can we ensure that our cause of building a strong community is passed from one generation to the next.
