Circus Juventas
This performing arts circus school for youth is dedicated to inspiring artistry and self-confidence through a multicultural circus arts experience. Each year, the school puts on three incredible themed showcases (Holiday, Spring, and Summer) featuring the best up-and-coming performers in the region.

Fitzgerald Theater
Built in 1910, this theater—named after Saint Paul’s own F. Scott Fitzgerald—is the oldest theater space in the city. In its early days, the space was known as a movie house that screened foreign films. Today, the space welcomes a variety of entertaining showcases like concerts, comedy shows, film fests, and theatrical performances.
Gremlin Theatre
With a goal of providing engaging and accessible theatrical experiences to the community, the Gremlin is host to a collection of actor-centered plays in the classic American style of realism. Plus, they produce new plays through local playwrights.

History Theatre
Since 1978, the History Theater has been entertaining and engaging viewers through educational performances that explore Minnesota’s past and the diverse American experience. With an intimate stage setting, this 587-seat theatre was designed in a way where no seat is more than 40 feet away from the stage—making for the perfect immersive experience.

Penumbra Theatre
Minnesota’s only Black professional theatre company has been a cultivating space to nurture Black artists, promote racial equity, and inspire creative resiliency. Working to carry out this mission and build onto the theatre’s rich history in the Rondo community, the organization is evolving into the Penumbra Center for Racial Healing—offering new artistic offerings, equity training services and a wellness center.

Six Points Theater
Six Points originally started as the Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company in 1994. The company by Founder and Producing Artistic Director, Barbara Brooks, was created to provide a space for her to share her Jewish heritage with the next generation and provide a space for her son and his future friends to share and learn about each other’s diversity.

The O’Shaughnessy
Located on the St. Catherine University campus, this concrete wonder, which opened in 1970, has become a coveted venue for musicians, dancers, and theater companies. Its series of artistic offerings are centered around themes of social justice and women’s voices and works that support the university’s campus-wide and public engagements.
