Afro Deli

Location: the east wall of the Food Building

A fast-casual restaurant featuring a fusion of African, Mediterranean, and American food. Its stand at the fair features sambusas, plantains, Somali tea, and this year welcomes Afro poppers--bite-sized pastries infused with and African blend of spices and topped with a drizzle of mango chutney, caramel or chocolate.

El Burrito Mercado

Location: International Bazaar

A staple of the West Side, El Burrito Mercado is an authentic deli, grocer, and artisan market. This year, the business makes its debut at the fair and will feature a tasty lineup of Quesabirria Taquitos, Esquites, and Agua de Sandia Loca.

French Meadow Bakery & Café

Location: North side of Carnes Avenue between Nelson & Underwood Streets

With a focus on using natural, local and organic ingredients, French Meadow aims to offer meal choices for all palettes whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or gluten free. This year at the fair, it will feature new shroomy "calamari" which is hand-breaded and deep-fried oyster mushrooms with a side of chipotle sauce.

Giggle’s Campfire Grill

Location: Southeast corner of Lee Avenue

Giggles, named after cofounder Tim Weiss (who was born and raised in Saint Paul), features authentic, made-from-scratch Minnesota foods with a modern twist like the walleye fritter pops (smoked walleye on-a-stick mixed with a blend of cheeses, dill pickle relish, fresh garlic, coated in panko breadcrumbs and deep fried) the duck bacon wontons or smoked salmon on-a-stick.

Hamline Church Dining Hall

Location: north side of San Patch Avenue between Underwood & Copper Streets

The Hamline Church Dining Hall is the oldest concession at the fair, dating back to 1897. Though it has been around for over a century, the menu hasn't alerted much--serving up comfort foods like baked chicken, Swedish meatballs and hamloaf. However, this year welcomes a new, item, the Swedish 'Sota Sliders (a wild rice meatball with dill Havarti cheese, red relish of beets, red onions, red peppers, lingonberries and cranberries, on brioche buns).

Mancini’s Al Fresco

Location: North Side of Cannes Avenue between Nelson & Underwood Streets

As a classic favorite on West 7th Street, Mancini's has been serving its charbroiled steaks since 1968. Head to the fair to have a try at grilled steak sandwich on ciabatta, Italian Bomba sandwich, or an Italian breakfast scrambler.

Midway Men’s Club

Location: east side of Underwood Street between Wright and Dan Patch Avenues

Created to support the youth in the Ramsey County community (specifically through the St. Paul Parks & Recreation, the Midway YMCA, and reading initiatives and programs at the Midway Library), the Midway Men's Club stand at the fair is your one-stop-shop for unbeatable prices on grill-tastic favorites like brats, hot dogs, and burgers.

Sweet Martha’s Cookie Jar

These fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies are the crown jewel of the Minnesota State Fair--and created by a Saint Paul native makes it that much sweeter!

West Indies Soul Food

Location: International Bazaar

Enjoy a fusion of authentic Carribean flavors with classic southern soul food sourced from delicious family recipes. Its fair signature is the turmeric ginger lemonade. Or try for a variety of staples like Jamaican jerk-seasoned chicken wings and pork chops, or a sweet potato pie.

O’Gara’s at the Fair

Location: Southwest corner of Dan Patch Avenue and Cosgrove Street

Once an iconic Saint Paul staple on Snelling Avenue, now only resides in the heart of the Great Minnesota Get-Together. Venture to this lively joint to enjoy live music, modern takes on Irish cuisine, and a collection of tasty beverages to compliment.

New Eats this Year: The Walking Shepard's Pie, two hot pastries filled with braised ground beef, mashed potatoes and a blend of onions, carrots and peas in herb gravy.

Blue Barn

Location: West End Market

This trendy barn is a product of the iconic Blue Plate restaurant group, which owns and operates Groveland Tap and Highland Grill. Each year, the stand creates new twists on traditional Minnesotan fare and classic fair grub.

New Eats this Year: PB Bacon Cakes, Thick-cut bacon dipped in pancake batter and topped with peanut butter whipped cream, grape jelly, and banana chips.

Que Viet Concessions

Location: East side of Cooper Street near the Merchandise Mart

Made famous for one item, Em Que Concessions is notorious for its legendary GIANT eggroll on a stick. This crowd favorite is also accompanied by another can't-skip delight, the garlic cream cheese wontons.

Green Mill

Location: East side of Cooper St. between Randall & Wright avenues, at Family Fair at Baldwin Park

Not only did the first Green Mill open in Saint Paul, but it is also the oldest licensed pub in the Capital City.Head its stand at the fair to taste a modern twist on bold, Italian flavor from its cheese curd-stuffed pizza pretzel. Or for a classic bite, grab a pizza by-the-slice.

Each year the Grandstand welcomes an array of big-name artists to Minnesota. Can Can Wonderland brings a nine-hole course inspired by famous Minnesota State Fair landmarks like the Space Tower, Haunted House, DNR Park, Giant Slide, and Ferris Wheel.
