2026 World Junior Ice Hockey Championship

Gear up hockey fans! One of the most prestigious tournaments in the world is heading to the Twin Cities from December 26, 2025, through January 5, 2026. This year, the tournament marks its 50th anniversary and the first time Minnesota has hosted the event since 1982. Expect intense rivalries, future NHL superstars and unforgettable celly's as the best under-20 men's teams battle for gold over the course of 29 games in 10 days!

The heart of Saint Paul will transform into a winter wonderland of hockey, holidays and hometown pride. Free and open to the public, this outdoor zone brings the spirit of the tournament to the streets with horse and carriage rides, trolley rides and a New Year's Eve fireworks show.

Fans can lace up at the TRIA Skills Rink, cozy up with cocoa and s'mores at the PNC Bank Bonfire Zone, take a spin on the bumper cars on ice, and enjoy snacks from Tom Reid's Hockey City Pub inside the HealthPartners Breakaway Box.
